Pete Przednowek A really closely matched affair last Friday evening! Was the first time me and Olly have met on the baize, so there was a lot of feeling each other out going on... with neither player wanting to give the other an easy in. Olly won the first 2 in similar fashion, with me slightly ahead going into the colours, and him being more clinical at the business end. Next 2 were roles reversed as I drew level, again everything going to the colours. Then Olly went 3-2, and I drew level to force a decider. Each frame on a knife edge as before. Then in the decider, something changed. I got in relatively early and compiled a nice 23 break... left the white on the cushion for a makeable blue for the brucey bonus (but middle pocket said no... again!). I got on again soon after for another mid-teen break and amassed a big lead which proved too much for Olly to come back from. In stark contrast from the previous 6 frames... silly game! Really enjoyed playing and meeting you Olly... a worthy addition to Div 1! Good luck for the rest mate... Highest Break: 23 | Olly Williams Highest Break: 14 | 1 | 1 | 07-10-2024 |

Johnny Campbell Really competititve match as always with Andreas. F1 and 2 were close affairs, I took them both on the pink and a re-spotted black. F3 I got going and built a large lead with a couple of reds left. 3-0 up against a very dangerous opponent. Andreas got going in F4 and 5 blew me off the park in one of them 4 I think. 3-2 I tightened up my safety game and rediscovered the F3 cue action to take it 4-2. Very enjoyable match!! Olly Williams Quick frames tonight with each one being very even throughout. Johnny played some fantastic snookers and each frame could have gone either way. Best of luck for the season Johnny, enjoyed the game tonight. Highest Break: 21 | Johnny Campbell Highest Break: 15 | 1 | 3 | 29-10-2024 |
Pete Przednowek A match that started off with lots of promise in the first couple of frames, with some top snooker from both of us! Things seemed to turn when I fluked a brown, turning what should have been a 1 break into a 21 break. But still a fight to get to 2-0. Andreas won the next to cut the deficit, but we were both struggling by this point, missing easy shots. I took the next 2 to get over the line. We are both capable of much better… shame the early exchanges didn’t continue! But we know we’re in for a battle whenever we play Good fun as always 👊🏼 Highest Break: 21 | Andreas Georgiou Highest Break: 14 | 1 | 4 | 22-10-2024 |
Wallace Miao Tough match overall. Johnny played very well. Highest Break: 22 | Johnny Campbell Highest Break: 27 | 1 | 4 | 21-10-2024 |
Andreas Georgiou Highest Break: 14 | Andreas played some fantastic safety and good potting to win the first 3 frames. After that I found some potting and got a bit of help from the run of the ball. In the end it finished 4-3 to me but every frame throughout was tight and some great snooker played by both players! Olly Williams Highest Break: 24 | 1 | 5 | 01-11-2024 |
Steven Simpson A first encounter between myself and Faisal, I'd heard on the playon grape vine that Faisal usually operates in the division 1 arena and is a general menace with a snooker cue. Frame 1, safety play standard was exceptionally high, no risks at all taken by myself and I managed to take the first on the colours. Frame 2, much of the same but more rhythm from Faisal, Faisal taking more opportunities and winning it on the colours. Frame 3, it's definitely fair to say I had my run of luck throughout the evening, balls landing in unplanned snookers and creating extra points through fouls, I took frame 3 on the colours. Frame 4 was once again filled with high standards safety, I have to say it's the best my safety game has ever been - I managed to get myself up to 3-1, but what had I done, I had unlocked the beast and Faisal came out flying in the 5th frame putting it out of reach early doors with commanding lead. Frame 6 and Faisal has certainly found some nice rhythm, I played as defensive as possible to try and disrupt some of the flow. I almost managed to pull it back but missed a black for 4-2, and it went 3-3... DECIDER, hands were shook, luck was wished, 2 men go into battle. It was a super tight affair, 6 and safe, 8 and safe, every point had to be earned, there was no balls left anywhere near pockets in the final frame. We were level on points, the safety exchange went on for 10 solid mins, no one was budging, I once again landed a semi jammy snooker, Faisal escaped, but let me in. I got so horny at the prospect of winning the decider that I decider to finger a couple of the stationary red balls... 4 points followed by a 13 break for Faisal... I responded well with a 13 break, and all was even again... It was close once again, safety exchange... I managed to pot a red, and a pink and leave myself perfectly on the yellow for what seemed like possibly the last turn at the table, then I remember I'm a div 3 donkey and not a div 1 legend , pot the yellow and top spin it into the pocket. Faisal does return the favour and miss the yellow from it's spot into the middle pocket. Just like the whole frame has been, safety play was the star of the night, Gareth Southgate would have a semi watching the performance it was such safe play. I made the first mistake and Faisal capitalised with the yellow and green, I made the brown Faisal finished off the colours and took a well earned victory and a major comeback. Really enjoyed a proper snooker match this evening! Highest Break: 17 | M Faisal Butt Highest Break: 18 | 2 | 1 | 01-10-2024 |
Mark Sheen Under par tonight from both players, both had luck and unlucky spells table 25 is a nice table and very fast Highest Break: 22 | Ed Stiven Highest Break: 10 | 2 | 1 | 30-09-2024 |
Alvin Lai Very entertaining match overall. Both going for it and not playing much safety. Lots of great moments with the highlight being I got snookered on a yellow, somehow got out of it and white stayed next to the pocket and snookered him back. Jim definitely had the better breaks and I struggled to get any good breaks just lots of 8s/9s most times. First 3 frames all went down to the black just to show how close it was. Highest Break: 14 | Jim Higgitt Highest Break: 27 | 2 | 1 | 26-09-2024 |
Steven Simpson Highest Break: 15 | Very enjoyable game. Good quality throughout from both of us. Pretty much all the frames came down to last few balls. Well played Steve! Ed Stiven Highest Break: 14 | 2 | 2 | 08-10-2024 |
M Faisal Butt Good start for me had a 28 break , jim still had slow start … second frame was even managed to go2up but Jim had well to pull back2-1 . Third frame Jim missed a black ball to level despite I miss calculated , overall we need to improve our safety and pots break build , Highest Break: 28 | Jim Higgitt Highest Break: 23 | 2 | 2 | 08-10-2024 |
Mark Sheen Highest Break: 17 | Always an intense battle between the 2 of us. Mark started off early with a few nice breaks to make it 1-0. Frame 2 was a lot closer and I was able to take it in the final few colours. I carried on the momentum to take frame 3 but Mark was able to level it at 2-2. Mark was leading by over 30 points in both the final 2 frames but I managed to take both after long safety battles on the colours. Not the type of match we would've hoped for but still it was great playing with you again. Alvin Lai Highest Break: 17 | 2 | 2 | 06-10-2024 |
Steven Simpson Highest Break: 23 | Long match, played in good spirits, quite topsy turvy Jim Higgitt Highest Break: 17 | 2 | 3 | 15-10-2024 |
Ed Stiven Highest Break: 15 | Match started off slow for both, but I managed to take the first 2. Then Ed made a comeback in 3rd frame, but I was able to carry on the momentum to win 4th and 5th frame. Alvin Lai Highest Break: 20 | 2 | 3 | 14-10-2024 |
M Faisal Butt F1fine start to Mark took frame 1 , had 15 . F2 this was even but colours got me through all square F3 getting average breaks and Mark lost touch and F4 had 21 and average breaks wish I had higher breaks 3-1.. F5 Mark came back to 3-2 amount of chance I had I couldn’t do 4-1 Mark did well , f6 same I couldn’t Finish off , Mark try to level , finish with 16 and got 4 , Mark definitely 💯 improve , , good luck Highest Break: 21 | Mark Sheen Highest Break: 15 | 2 | 3 | 17-10-2024 |
Steven Simpson Highest Break: 18 | It's always a classic between Steve and I (old rivals of the PlayOn League). It was a near perfect start for Steve in the first frame. I barely had a shot and he was already 50 up at one point, no way back for me, 1-0 to Steve. Frame 2 & 3 were a bit closer both decided in the final colours, but Steve was able to carry his momentum to take both frames to make it 3-0. At this point, I thought I can't just lose 4-0 and head home, it's the final match and we have both been looking forward to this for so long. This was when the comeback started. I started off strong in Frame 4 and managed to keep the lead down to the colours to make it 3-1. Gave me some confidence into Frame 5 & 6 with Steve having a few unlucky fouls on the white. I took both frames to get to a decider. It was very intense at this point with the start of the frame where it took a combined 5 attempts from both of us to pot a black that's next to the pocket. I lead 17 points down to the final few colours but left the green on for Steve. He was absolutely spot on with the cue ball going from green to black, but I think the nerves got to him and I potted the black to complete the comeback. Well fought battle with lots of good safety plays to go with it. Alvin Lai Highest Break: 15 | 2 | 4 | 23-10-2024 |
Jim Higgitt Definitely had the run this one, although Mark did really well to turn it round at 3-0 down to make it nervous by the end Highest Break: 24 | Mark Sheen Highest Break: 16 | 2 | 4 | 20-10-2024 |
Ed Stiven Highest Break: 15 | Disappointed how I played… anyway F1 was ahead Ed came back luckily just took 1-0 F2Ed managed to take the frame , despite having chances didn’t take Ed kept cool ,, F3 I couldn’t get high break going Ed was missing few shots game was even, I was saved by the black , blue was cover luckily I took the lead , F4 same this this I took the double and 3-1 again non of got going .F 5 ed lost touch I couldn’t finish off but I won 4-1 , I don’t think I’m ready to be in div1 , otherwise I’ll have to find a way to practice, Ed unlucky, good luck for next season 👍🤞 M Faisal Butt Highest Break: 16 | 2 | 4 | 22-10-2024 |
Steven Simpson A common fixture in the playon leagues, always a feisty one. First frame was neck and neck til I fluked the black.. that set the tone.. I had the better roll of the ball all day and Mark couldn't find his usual flow. I was 3-1 up, with all frames coming down to the colours.. in the 5th frame, Mark makes a 26, and I can sense the relief - I stuck in however and managed to take that frame, also in the black ball game, like the first. Great contest as always! Highest Break: 16 | Mark Sheen Highest Break: 26 | 2 | 5 | 13-10-2024 |
Alvin Lai Highest Break: 21 | What a game F1even Alvin took the f1 , F2 this time I level it,F3 no break was 1s. I managed to go2-1. F4 was high standards both made 21 looking like 3-1. Alvin took it and all level F5i managed to take the lead, average breaks andF6 same ,, this time Alvin had chance to level and punish me for missing blue , Alvin took it to the end but I managed to pot pink and black for 4-2 good luck, u definitely gave me tough game M Faisal Butt Highest Break: 21 | 2 | 5 | 18-10-2024 |
Jim Higgitt Highest Break: 20 | Good match. Some nice breaks from both players. Came down to the last black in the final frame. Ed Stiven Highest Break: 22 | 2 | 5 | 29-10-2024 |
Darren Cafferty Highest Break: 25 | Darren played really well Faizan Contractor Highest Break: 13 | 3 | 1 | 01-10-2024 |
Drilon Kola Highest Break: 21 | Drilon took a 2-0 lead including a lovely 21 break before I pulled one back for 2-1. Drilon then took the 4th in style potting pretty much everything whilst I watched. At 3-1 it wasn't looking good but I managed to win the next 3 frames for a big comeback to win 4-3. Ed Pedder Highest Break: 13 | 3 | 1 | 30-09-2024 |
Yifei Wang It’s an interesting game. We both performed not bad but no one got any high break. Highest Break: 10 | Adam Sands Highest Break: 15 | 3 | 1 | 29-09-2024 |
Darren Cafferty Not 100% about the high breaks but definitely no point scoring breaks. Most frames went very close. Scoreline doesn't really represent quality of play very well. There were a couple of frames were I had a decent lead which Ed managed to close the gap only for me to pot the last ball or 2 for the Frame I also got quite lucky by not leaving much for Ed whenever I missed. Very enjoyable match 👌 Cheers Ed! Highest Break: 18 | Ed Pedder Highest Break: 19 | 3 | 2 | 22-10-2024 |
Faizan Contractor Highest Break: 17 | Very fun game. Lots of attacking play. I took a 3 frame lead and was pegged back but managed to edge it. Best of luck in your next games! Adam Sands Highest Break: 25 | 3 | 2 | 07-10-2024 |
Drilon Kola Highest Break: 15 | It was a good game yesterday. Drilon performed good thoughts while connecting each colored balls and I enjoyed the distanced shots all the time. The frames were quite close, we always need to compete until last pink and black. Just need some more stability to improve the high break. Yifei Wang Highest Break: 12 | 3 | 2 | 07-10-2024 |
Darren Cafferty Highest Break: 14 | Great match on Wednesday with Darren. Some good quality snooker throughout. I took a 2-1 lead and then Darren came back to leas 3-2. It went to a decider with a long safety battle and I managed to get over the line. Great game and look forward to playing again soon Darren! Adam Sands Highest Break: 17 | 3 | 3 | 16-10-2024 |
Ed Pedder Highest Break: 22 | It was a great game. The good side is that I managed some good snookers and Ed potted many fantastic distance shots. However the other side is that, my cue ball always lost control and went to different pockets, Ed missed easy shots under pressure. Well played Ed but we both got some area to improve. Yifei Wang Highest Break: 18 | 3 | 3 | 10-10-2024 |
Faizan Contractor Highest Break: 10 | Great enjoyable game we had tonight with Faizan. One of these nights you like to playing snooker with nice fast pace. First frame for Faizan and I managed to take the rest of the frames , both played nice shots at times and scored some nice breaks. Result didn't reflect Faizan's level though. Drilon Kola Highest Break: 21 | 3 | 3 | 16-10-2024 |
Darren Cafferty Highest Break: 16 | It was a great game yesterday. We both enjoyed the game and it was so close. We both performed somehow good shots but also missed some easy ones. The most dramatic part was the last frame. We were competing until blue with similar scores. Then I got blue and a fluke pink which killed the decider. If I am not that lucky, the winner would be Darren. Yifei Wang Highest Break: 14 | 3 | 4 | 25-10-2024 |
Adam Sands Fun match this eve with Drilon. Lot’s of attacking play and a fair few breaks over 15. Thankfully both of us managed to get a break point. It was 2-2, the fifth frame was a close one and I managed to edge it, and then I played well in the final frame. Highest Break: 21 | Drilon Kola Highest Break: 21 | 3 | 4 | 20-10-2024 |
Ed Pedder Highest Break: 14 | Close matches, 3/4 came down to the black ball Faizan Contractor Highest Break: 17 | 3 | 4 | 22-10-2024 |
Darren Cafferty Highest Break: 10 | Great battle that went into decider frame Drilon Kola Highest Break: 24 | 3 | 5 | 04-11-2024 |
Yifei Wang It was a good game. I can tell Faizan is so good but just didn’t practice enough recently. Faizan is so good at applying power and control the cue ball. The most dramatic frame is the last frame. Faizan unfortunately gave me more than 30 points by fouls. Highest Break: 18 | Faizan Contractor Highest Break: 14 | 3 | 5 | 30-10-2024 |
Adam Sands Enjoyable game with Ed this eve. I managed to get ahead early in the four frames, helped by some nice pots into the middle. Both of us struggled to string a break together, despite some decent long range pots, so some practice is in order for us both around the pink and black. Highest Break: 12 | Ed Pedder Highest Break: 18 | 3 | 5 | 29-10-2024 |
Tianyang Qu Highest Break: 9 | Ash won the first frame then Tianyang came back very strong to take a resounding second frame. Ash then took the third to make it 2-1 with Tianyang again winning the next frame comfortably so it went to the decisive frame. Tianyang took a lead but Ash came back to make it even coming into the colours, with Tianyang taking yellow, green and brown, Ash needing the remaining colours and taking blue and pink taking it to a black ball game with both players then missing chances to take the game with Ash finally putting the black away in a very nerve wracking finale. Ashley Skellington Highest Break: 15 | 4 | 1 | 09-10-2024 |
Adam Woodford Got the new season off to a cracker! Really good and enjoyable best of 5 match. John started off the first frame with a good lead and some good long potting. Adam edged his way back into the frame and did well on the colours take it to a black ball decider which Adam edged. Second frame another tight one which went down to the black again. Quite even frame John made a 16 in this frame and Adam got lucky a few times with flicked snooker. John squared the match to 1-1. 3rd frame was very similar maybe a bit tactical then the first two frames but Adam edged it again on the blackball decider with a fluke double to the middle. The 4th frame John was the better player with some good pots and safety play to take the final frame to a decider. 5th frame was back and forth similar to the 1st frame where John got a good early lead but Adam clawed his way back into the frame. A unlucky foul on the pink by John followed by a brown and blue pot by Adam leaving John needing a snooker with only pink and black. John came very close to getting the snooker required. But a foul on the pink gave Adam the frame and match. 3-2. Very enjoyable match and all the best for your remaining matches! 🤝 Highest Break: 13 | John Morley Highest Break: 16 | 4 | 1 | 04-10-2024 |
Tianyang Qu Highest Break: 16 | Really enjoyable game. All the frames were very close. I went 2-1 ahead but Tianyang played a really good 4th frame to take it to the decider. It all came down to the blue, pink and black with Tianyang having a 13 point lead. I went for long blue, struck it really well, only for it to rattle the jaws and stay over the pocket. An appropriately close finish to a very close match! Well played Tianyang. James Cross Highest Break: 13 | 4 | 2 | 15-10-2024 |
Ashley Skellington Highest Break: 14 | Ashley took the 1st frame Out potting me with some decent breaks Lucky for me I took the next 3 frames With a break of 17 Missing the black for a possible 24 Good game at a good pace John Morley Highest Break: 17 | 4 | 2 | 09-10-2024 |

James Cross Both of us had some good pots and good safety, but also our fair share of luck. Enjoyable game played at a good pace. I probably just edged it on the day, but could have easily been a different scoreline. 22 high break was the highlight - made in the first frame potting brown to black. Highest Break: 22 | Adam Woodford Highest Break: 8 | 4 | 3 | 05-10-2024 |
James Cross Highest Break: 14 | A very close game between two well matched opponents, two of the three frames going all the way to the black ball Ashley Skellington Highest Break: 12 | 4 | 4 | 21-10-2024 |
Adam Woodford Highest Break: 11 | Ridiculously close game, pretty much every frame going to a black ball game with a point in it here or there Ashley Skellington Highest Break: 15 | 4 | 5 | 29-10-2024 |
John Morley Highest Break: 11 | Really close match. Both played well in the first few frames despite the reds often ending in awkward spots. Both took one frame at a time until 2-2. I think fatigue then got the better of us with John routinely leaving reds over the pockets, me taking advantage, only to give away about 20 points in fouls. Was pretty bizarre but still a good laugh. A good competitive end to what’s been a closely fought season James Cross Highest Break: 13 | 4 | 5 | 28-10-2024 |
Joe Lavin Great to play Dominic this evening. Played fairly well and Dominic had some great moment too. Unfortunately they let me in a few too many times and a good few unfortunate fouls. Great game though, Dominic. Looking forward to the rematch Highest Break: 13 | Dominic A Highest Break: 9 | 5 | 1 | 03-10-2024 |
Sergey Kiselev Highest Break: 8 | A very comfortable victory for G in the first two frames, taking the lead early on and maintaining it throughout the much. Second frame, Sergey was requiring snookers with two reds still left on the table 😲. Last frame G again took an early lead, but this time Sergey showed some fight and caught up, taking it down to the final colours. Both of us had shots on the final blue, both times it went in but leapt out again! For all the drama, G managed to eventually secure the whitewash on the final black. George Brown Highest Break: 13 | 5 | 1 | 27-09-2024 |
Keivan Shamlou What a thrilling game! All three frames were closely contested. Thanks for the fun, Ben. Highest Break: 13 | Ben Leigh Highest Break: 8 | 5 | 1 | 31-08-2024 |
Joe Lavin Five frames of colours going safe, bizarre fouls but also some nice pots by both. I came back from 1-2 to win 3-2 on the final black. Very jammy and could have gone either way. Well played as always, George. Looking forward to the next one 👍🏻 Highest Break: 9 | George Brown Highest Break: 8 | 5 | 2 | 30-09-2024 |
Dominic A Another epic battle between myself and Ben tonight, that lasted just shy of 5 hours! Ben played well in the first two frames, maing some excellent long pots, but I managed to win both on the pinks. The third frame was a tight one too, with plenty of good pots and decent safetly play from both of us. I finally went in off on the pink handing Ben the 3rd frame, to my great annoyance. The 4th frame was a high standard with me edging ahead at the beginning. Although Ben was pushing for the decider and caught up with me on points. I finally fluked the black to seal victory. Final score. Dominic 3 Ben 1. High breaks were, Dominic 8, Ben 7. Well played Ben and best of luck in the rest of the league. Highest Break: 8 | Ben Leigh Highest Break: 7 | 5 | 2 | 10-10-2024 |

Joe Lavin Great game with Ben. He played very well and was unlucky in the end. I came back from 2-0 down so pleased to have been able to pull out the win. Thanks again Ben and looking forward to the rematch Highest Break: 14 | Ben Leigh Highest Break: 13 | 5 | 3 | 13-10-2024 |
George Brown Highest Break: 14 | I started strong, winning the first frame by around 20 points. But then George's game picked up—he made some incredible pots and took the next two frames. He was just one frame away from winning the match. In the fourth frame, I found myself down by 20 points and nearly lost, but somehow I managed an incredible comeback, winning the frame and forcing a decider. The final frame was neck and neck, with the match coming down to a battle over the colored balls. In the end, I won it. Keivan Shamlou Highest Break: 18 | 5 | 3 | 10-10-2024 |
Dominic A A very close match that lasted 6 hours! Sergey won the first frame on the colours. I took the 2nd with a huge lead on points. Sergey took the 3rd after making some great long pots. I took the 4th on the black, we'd been close on points throughout that frame too. Finally, I came from points behind to pot the black into the right corner. We both played some excellent safety shots but had our share of fouls too. All in all, a tough match that I was happy to finally win. Well played Sergey. Joe Lavin Having to do redo this as the previous didn't register, so my memory is a little hazy now. Was a top of the table clash that failed to deliver for both players! A good first frame but we both struggled with our rhythm in the later frames. Could have gone either way but luckily mine this time. Thanks again for the great game, Keivan Highest Break: 8 | Keivan Shamlou Highest Break: 8 | 5 | 4 | 31-10-2024 |
Ben Leigh Highest Break: 8 | Close match with tough frames, a lot of safe play and not mamy potted colours along the frame. The first frame slowly been taken by me overscore mainly on reds, and putting pink at the end. The second frame was very tough, Ben strike back intensively and with persistency, and I have been lucky to put some snookers on colours wich gives opportunity to avoid black ball game. The third frame a bit easier at the begining , but then a lot of snookers from Ben bring the score almost equal, and lucky fluck pink gave me match. Thank you very much for the game! Sergey Kiselev Highest Break: 9 | 5 | 4 | 21-10-2024 |
George Brown Highest Break: 11 | An excellent match with George today. George was in fine form and took the opening frame quickly. I pegged one back after potting the blue and pink from behind then fluked the black. 1-1. The third frame was a slow one which went right down to the colours. I managed to lay a few key snookers which got me back in contention and I finally pulled a head with a few breaks of 6's and 8's. 2-1 The final frame was hard fought too. I was ahead for a good part of it, but George came roaring back with some superb long pots to put himself out in front and it was a black ball game! George then missed the black which put me 6 ahead. We traded shots on the black back and fourth with each of us nearly potting it. Until finally I landed it in the top right corner with the rest. Final score Dom 3 - George 1. Well played George. Keivan Shamlou I had an incredible game with Dominic! I started off strong, and they had a bit of bad luck, but Dominic made an impressive comeback in the second frame. It all came down to a tense rally on the black ball, which lasted a solid 10 minutes before I finally managed to pot it. The competition remained intense in the third frame, with both of us neck and neck until I clinched the frame over the pink. Huge thanks to Dominic for such a fantastic and close match! Ben was good at setting up snookers, but G managed to escape them each time, including a very impressive swerve shot (even if I do say so myself!). Second Frame was a bit more solid from G. A difficult table with all the balls safe on the cushion, Ben is a very tactful player. Though a few points were given away in fouls in the second frame, it was notable how few fouls occurred in the 3-frame match especially with the snookers! Third Frame was a runaway. G kept getting breaks of 8s and 9s on consecutive visits to the table. With a 40+ point lead at one point, Ben persevered and managed to close the gap when it came to the colours. Unfortunately, while attempting a snooker on the final blue, he accidentally potted it and the results were sealed. Good game! George Brown Highest Break: 9 | 5 | 5 | 02-11-2024 |
