I feel like John should have won this one! First match went down to the colours and John gained an initial lead, followed very quickly by 2 more wins. Things started flowing a bit better for me at this point and I managed to claw it back to 3-3. The last game was much more even but I was incredibly lucky on a lot of shots which led to a final win for me on the pink.

Very scrappy. Lot of easy balls missed by both especially early on. I went 2-0, up, Faisal then knocked a nice 24 to take F3..I took the next 2 to take the W. Thanks for the game Faisal, think we'll both be better next time!!🤙

After a mix up with table bookings, the first two matches came down to the colours to bring the score to 1-1 but Johnny wasn’t able to find his form after that despite making some excellent pots and I took the remainder of the matches. Great safety play from Johnny!

The score line suggests a one side match which isn’t the case
All 4 frames came down to the last few colours
Jack giving me a fair few fouls as well
Some nice pots from both players

Great match, right down to the final black. Bit of a rough start with a few fouls, but I got the better run of the balls later on. Thanks for the game, Mark. Nice meeting you!

The 4th went the same way as the the first 2 frames
Enjoyable match

Last Thursday I gave a pint of blood at the blood bank, tonight I gave another pint on 24 in an epic encounter. I took the first frame,
The Jim settled in and took the next 2. I then took the next with the 27 break. I took the following one on a tricky pink missed by Jim to lead 3-2 Jim then took the next for the deserved decider which I took on the final pink. Match could have gone either way with lots of easy misses and fouls costing us both good luck for the remaining matches. And no more 24

Was tough match that went down to a decider. Some bad luck on both sides and was a bit of slog. Good luck for the rest of the season, Amit!

I peaked too soon in this match using up all the good stuff in frame 1 (still without a break worth talking about) creating the illusion i was gonna finish the match off quickly. After that my form dropped quite a bit and Joe started cueing really well pulling out some great pots. I think all the frames went to the last colours minus the first one so a more competitive match than the scoreline may suggest. Cheers Joe and all the best for the rest of the season 👍🏻

A lot tighter match than the scoreline.
First frame Adam got a good lead and Andrew came back into it but Adam closed the frame out on the blue. Frame 2 Andrew made a good break of 19 and just needed the final black for a re-spot but Adam was able to close it. Third frame looked like was going to go Andrew’s way and he made a second 19 break and just needed either pink or black but Adam potted both. Last frame went down to the black ball which Adam potted to take the win.
Good luck Andrew with the rest of your games. 🤝

Great match. There were a couple of very close frames going down to the last few colours. I think Ed was a bit unlucky leaving me lots of sitters whenever he missed a pot whereas i had a pretty decent run of the balls leaving the cue ball safe more often than not. Ed produced some amazing shots throughout the match but needed better cue ball control with his long game to keep the pressure on. Good luck with the rest of the season Ed 👍🏻

Over 3 hours to complete a memorable match.
Joe got off to a fast start with his highest break of 21 and some good solid potting. Second went in the same way for Joe, he kept potting well and punished Adam’s mistakes with scoreboard pressure. Crucial third frame Adam was able to get a frame on the board by potting the final black ball. 2-1 at this point. Joe took full advantage of Adam’ missed pink to 3-1 up and restore a two frame lead. Adam was in full safety mode now avoiding risky pots and trying to leave nothing easy on. Adam closed the gap to 3-2. Again the next frame was very similar to the previous one, Adam was able to even the scoreline to take it to a decider. The final frame Adam made his highest break of the night a 21 early on and was able to maintain the lead and win the match on the blue. Joe is a very good player. Adam had to change to plan B because plan A was going to get taken to the cleaners. Credit to Joe for that. Good for the rest of the season 🤝

Great match. Some very close frames including a couple of black ball shootouts. Form for both of us was up and down and we were very evenly matched. I managed to find another gear in the final frame to eventually close it out! Thanks for the game, Darren.

First three frames were very close, including a respotted black. Some good shots and safety from both players. Rob gained the advantage in the fourth frame with a useful mini break. Good game Mischa.

A game of highs and lows. The middle pockets conspiring against both players. More knuckle deflections and balls bouncing out of pockets than days till Christmas. Rob held his nerve to edge past in serval frames.

George’s first match in several leagues, does a small break from snooker make way for a big break? The first frame took time to get going, looked to be a tense battle with no pots in the first 10-15 mins but suddenly G was taking chances and potting long pots one after the other leaving a great victory. Second frame was much tighter, Ben had the lead for a while, but was wiped out with a sudden clearance by G from the brown onwards. Truth be told, the pink wobbled in the jaws and was missed, how unlucky - but it then went round the table and fluked its way in to the opposite corner! There are two kinds of lucks! So the break continued with the pink gone and a spectacular exhibition-style double on the black, forgotting the possible break bonus, to end the frame victorious with a break of 22. Third frame G continued to pot well, a 14 break there and a great match had. Ben had attempted snookers in each frame, and successfully got a fair few, however G also managed to escape well saving his position - sorry, Ben!

First frame George got a good lead, somewhat ahead come the colours. The "Smasher" Sergey then pulls out of nowhere a blue-pink-black clearance pipping G to the post to claim the first frame, leaving G absolutely stunned at 1-0. The second frame was again a close affair throughout, going right down to the final black, but this time it was G that secured the win, making it 1-1.
The third frame was much more decisive, the black left the table twice by the same player, and in the same frame the black found its way on the edge of the corner pocket protected by the green (how'd the green get down there?!) Sure enough the black went in prematurely. A host of penalty points in G's favour left the Smasher requiring two snookers by the final red.
The final frame was tit for tat, a more delicate tactical play by Sergey kept the scores tight throughout. Scores were tied by the final blue. Two fouls in quick succession put G ahead 10pts, who then potted the blue to take a 15pt lead with 13 left on the table; Sergey requiring a snooker. Pretty quickly, Sergey sends the pink around several cushions into the top corner pocket, a final fluke to seal the fate.
A fun match, there were several red-colours tonight from both players, making some quick frames, but sadly I must admit it is a match I won through penalty points moreso than potting.
